Cultivating a Timeless Tradition
The Blue & Gold Athletic Society was established in early 2010 by a passionate group of volunteer parents dedicated to enhancing the athletic environment at Notre Dame High School in Calgary, AB.

With a mission to inspire and uplift, we strive to fund all athletic programs at the school, creating opportunities for both boys and girls at junior and senior levels of participation.
Fundraising
The B & G Athletic Society proudly supports more than 400 student athletes across 21 teams, encompassing both junior and senior levels of competition. Over the past 15 years, the society has successfully raised over $250,000 to fund various athletic programs, resources, and scholarships. This funding not only enhances the athletic experience for students but also promotes teamwork, discipline, and a strong sense of community among participants. Through dedicated fundraising efforts and community support, the B & G Athletic Society remains committed to fostering excellence in student athletics.

Scholarships & Awards
The Athlete of the Year award, presented annually by the Blue & Gold Athletic Society, identifies one female and one male student-athlete from Notre Dame who demonstrate excellence in sport, leadership, and school spirit. These individuals serve as role models, showcasing the importance of teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship both on and off the field, and providing a strong foundation for others to strive towards.
